Specialty Center Facilities
There are 6 classrooms and 2 dedicated wet labs in the specialty center. The facility fosters investigative work by providing students with space and equipment necessary to complete independent research projects without interruption or handling by other students and teachers. The equipment includes a BSL 2 safety hood available for teaching microbiological techniques and for use in student projects, an inverted microscope with camera attached, a gas chromatograph, a Genesis spectrophotometer and a MyCycler PCR machine.
