There is also a new terminal building currently under construction that will be designed to accept 5 million passengers per year and planning to open at the end of the year 2011.
Update :
The new terminal is nearing completion, the main structure is built, the 9 new airbridges have arrived and are now fixed onto the terminal, 8 will handle normal aircraft, 1 will have a double entrance for larger aircraft. Roads into the airport and now under redesign and the interior finishing is under process. The airport terminal is now scheduled to open April 2012. The current international terminal will transform into a larger domestic terminal.
