Mickey Harte
Michael "Mickey" Harte (Irish: Mícheál Ó hAirt) is the current—and most successful—Gaelic football manager of the Tyrone senior inter-county team. He has led Tyrone to three All-Ireland titles, three Ulster titles, one National League, and four Dr. McKenna Cups to date (as of August 2010).
Considered one of the best tacticians in the game, Harte is admired both by peers and former rivals. The media have compared him to a statesman for his willingness to unite divided communities in Northern Ireland.

Famous quotes containing the words mickey and/or harte:
“The 1950s to me is darkness, hidden history, perversion behind most doors waiting to creep out. The 1950s to most people is kitsch and Mickey Mouse watches and all this intolerable stuff.”
—James Ellroy (b. 1948)
“I reside at Table Mountain, and my name is Truthful James;
I am not up to small deceit, or any sinful games;
And Ill tell in simple language what I know about the row
That broke up our society upon the Stanislow.
But first I would remark, that it is not a proper plan
For any scientific man to whale his fellow-man,”
—Bret Harte (18361902)
