Miami University Hamilton is a member of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), which provides smaller and regional colleges and universities around the U.S. the opportunity to compete at a national level.

The Harriers field competitive teams in men's baseball, women's fast-pitch softball, men's/women's basketball, golf, tennis and volleyball.

The Harrier Baseball Program has been the University's most successful athletic program, claiming the ORCC Regular Season and Tournament Championship in 11 of the last 12 seasons.

2010 and 2011 Seasons: Jeremy Yeary and Mark Hildebrand are the all-time greatest legends to play at Miami University Hamilton campus after posting remarkable statistics. The duo accounted for 84 of the teams 162 rbi's in the 2011 season. (A season record). They also accounted for 21 homeruns in there two seasons playing together. (Yeary 11, Hildebrand 10). Yeary was named Co-MVP of the ORCC after batting .675 in league play of the 2011 season. Both led the team to two ORCC championships.

Miami Hamilton softball is fantastic. In their 2012 season they claimed the ORCC league title and took first place in their end of the season tournament for the first time in 10 years!
