Performance
Metro Nashville Chorus' members can be seen throughout the community performing at local events, fairs, hospitals, churches, and festivals. The chorus also presents an annual show, with special guests such as Spice Quartet and Jason Coleman.
In 2011 and 2012, the chorus conducted a barbershop festival for girls 12-25. Called YWISH - Young Women in Song & Harmony - the festival introduced the girls to the barbershop sound, and the YWISH chorus joins MNC for a performance. MNC plans a third YWISH festival in Fall 2013

Famous quotes containing the word performance:
“O world, world! thus is the poor agent despised. O traitors and bawds, how earnestly are you set a-work, and how ill requited! Why should our endeavour be so loved, and the performance so loathed?”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
“No performance is worth loss of geniality. ‘Tis a cruel price we pay for certain fancy goods called fine arts and philosophy.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
“The value of old age depends upon the person who reaches it. To some men of early performance it is useless. To others, who are late to develop, it just enables them to finish the job.”
—Thomas Hardy (1840–1928)
