Famous quotes containing the words role in and/or role:

Friends serve central functions for children that parents do not, and they play a critical role in shaping children’s social skills and their sense of identity. . . . Zick Rubin (20th century)

To yield exclusive access to the role is to surrender some of the potential for fulfilling the hero fantasy—a fantasy that appeals to us all. The loss is far from trivial.
    Faye J. Crosby (20th century)
