Remake
Hallmark Entertainment filmed a remake in Vancouver, entitled Merlin's Apprentice, with Neill and Richardson returning, though Richardson played a completely different role and ensuring that it was not a sequel as it had nothing to do with the previous film. The miniseries was broadcast in 2006 on Hallmark Channel.
