History
'MS' was founded in February 2004 by the University of London Union Medical Students Officer as a means to inform London medical students of the key national medical and political issues affecting them, as well as publishing news concerning the five London medical schools.
The publication ran into managerial and financial difficulties between 2008 and 2010, and was put on hiatus. In February 2011, MS was restarted by a newly elected committee.

Famous quotes containing the word history:
“I believe that history has shape, order, and meaning; that exceptional men, as much as economic forces, produce change; and that passé abstractions like beauty, nobility, and greatness have a shifting but continuing validity.”
—Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
“In all history no class has been enfranchised without some selfish motive underlying. If to-day we could prove to Republicans or Democrats that every woman would vote for their party, we should be enfranchised.”
—Carrie Chapman Catt (18591947)
“The history of the world is the record of the weakness, frailty and death of public opinion.”
—Samuel Butler (18351902)
