MDG is a manufacturer of desktop and laptop computers running the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems.
In approximately 2007, MDG began a corporate strategy of using name brand parts for all major components of its computers. The goal was to differentiate itself from various competitors that rely on no-name hardware, improve product reliability, and make improvements in customer satisfaction.
In addition to offering consumer financing to buy desktops, laptops and LCD HDTVs to Canadian customers MDG also sells desktop computers on the NMSO - Canada's federal government buying arm and has contracts with large school boards across Canada.
According to MDG's website, all computer assembly and technical support are based entirely in Canada, including their factory.
