McDaniel College (est. 1867) is a private four-year liberal arts college in Westminster, Maryland, United States, located 30 miles (50 km) northwest of Baltimore. The college also has a satellite campus located in Budapest, Hungary. Until July 2002, it was known as Western Maryland College. As of July 2002 the school has been renamed McDaniel College in honor of an alumnus who gave a lifetime of service to the college. McDaniel College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
