Double Backflip
After Mohawk Warrior, and George Balhan landed a "Double Backflip", or two simultaneous single backflips at the 2012 Monster Jam World Finals 13, Tom Meents was driven to land the double. After months of preparation at his shop located in Paxton Illinois, he was to debut this move on June 16th 2012 at the finale of the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam Path of Destruction tour at Metlife stadium, in East Rutherford NJ. After the freestyle portion of the show(neal elliot driving), Tom came out in his modified "stunt truck" Maximum Destruction. When Meents hit the jump his truck completed one and a half rotations, coming just short of landing the first ever Monster truck double backflip. Tom promised fans immediately after that he will attempt the trick in the near future.
