Masood Khalili, also Massoud Khalili and Masud Khalili (born 5.11.1950) is a diplomat, linguist and urbane poet. He was an adviser and close friend of legendary Afghan leader Ahmad Shah Massoud. Khalili is the current Afghan Ambassador to Spain. He has previously been the ambassador to Turkey and India. He speaks fluent English and Dari.
