Mark Stent - Early Life

Early Life

Stent grew up in Alton, Hampshire and first gained experience as an engineer at his local Jacob Studios as a teenager before a two-year stint at Trident Studio.

After Trident, Stent worked out of Olympic Studios in Barnes, South London. Olympic Studios was built as part of a joint venture between himself and EMI - EMI paid for the building, and Stent equipped it. While at Olympic Studios Stent receiving credits with mixes of the KLF (“Stand by The JAMs”, ” The Magnificent”). Released in 1991 as a pop-house single, “Justified & Ancient by The JAMs” charted at #1 in 18 countries.

Stent currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he works out of Mix Suite LA.

Stent is known to be very close friends with international rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio.
