Administration
The district of Mardan is administratively subdivided into three tehsils, these are:
- Mardan
- Takht Bhai
- Katlang
The district is represented in the provincial assembly by eight elected MPAs who represent the following constituencies:
- Pk-23 (Mardan-1)
- Pk-24 (Mardan-2)
- Pk-25 (Mardan-3)
- Pk-26 (Mardan-4)
- Pk-27 (Mardan-5)
- Pk-28 (Mardan-6)
- Pk-29 (Mardan-7)
- Pk-30 (Mardan-8)
