Honors
Numerous buildings and charities have been named after him, including the Malik Muhammad Saad Khan Shaheed flyover, a project which Malik Saad personally began during his tenure as DG CD&MDD and the Peshawar Police Lines, which was renamed the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in his honor. Malik Saad is a recipient of the Nishan-e-Shujaat, the highest civilian award for gallantry. It is also to be mentioned that the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province unanimously passed that Malik Saad be awarded the Nishan-e-Haider. This move was supported by the public at large but it seemed highly unlikely due to the fact that the Nishan-e-Haider is a military award.
