Safety
A number of features of MRI scanning can give rise to risks.
These include:
- Powerful magnetic fields
- Radio waves
- Cryogenic liquids
- Noise
- Claustrophobia.
In addition, in cases where MRI contrast agents are used, these also typically have associated risks.
