MIT Alumni Association
The MIT Alumni Association (MITAA) was established in Chennai, in 1966. The first General Body meeting was held on 14 April 1966 and was headed by V. Gopalan (I Batch, President), C.J.G. Chandra (I Batch, V.P.), P. S. Subramanian (6th Batch, Secretary) and B. Venkatraman (4th Batch, Treasurer). K. Srinivasan was the dean of the institute at that time.
