Ma Zhanshan

Ma Zhanshan(simplified Chinese: 马占山; traditional Chinese: 馬占山; pinyin: Mǎ Zhànshān; Wade–Giles: Ma Chan-shan) or Ma Chan-san (November 30, 1885, Huaide (Gongzhuling), Jilin – November 29, 1950, Beijing), was a Chinese Muslim general who initially opposed the Imperial Japanese Army in the invasion of Manchuria, briefly defected to Manchukuo, and then rebelled, and fought against the Japanese in Manchuria and in other parts of China.
