Singing Career

Lydia Denker started singing at an early age. At 11, she recorded an original song which she co-wrote with her father Herman Denker. She pursued her interest in music from a young age - from singing in the local choir to performances at night clubs, pubs and casinos.

At 15, she joined the Midnight Revue Show where she performed regularly. She was singing at the Mercury Lounge at the Crown Casino where Ross Fraser of Gotham MD saw her singing and signed her to a record contract distributed through BMG Australia.

Lydia's 2000 debut single "Real to Me" was a minor radio hit, while her second single "One Perfect Day" (released 4 years later)from the Australian film of the same name debuted at number 35 on the Australian charts on 23 February 2004. Shortly after the release of 'One Perfect Day', Denker was dropped by her label. However she has continually written and released songs independently, and released an EP 'Voices In Your Head' in November 2007. She has also managed a girl group called Ravenisis.
