Current Status
Luna has been undergoing continuous rehabilitation by volunteers and shipyard personnel since October 2007. It is expected that by early 2010 the rehabilitation process will be substantially complete. At that time, Luna expects to be on display to the public in Boston Harbor and open on certain weekend days.

Famous quotes containing the words current and/or status:
““I” is a militant social tendency, working to hold and enlarge its place in the general current of tendencies. So far as it can it waxes, as all life does. To think of it as apart from society is a palpable absurdity of which no one could be guilty who really saw it as a fact of life.”
—Charles Horton Cooley (1864–1929)
“The influx of women into paid work and her increased power raise a woman’s aspirations and hopes for equal treatment at home. Her lower wage and status at work and the threat of divorce reduce what she presses for and actually expects.”
—Arlie Hochschild (20th century)
