Scott

Scott Mason is a 21-year-old history student from Macclesfield, who was studying at the University of Exeter. On Day 1, Scott entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 9, he was informed that a family member had died, resulting in him leaving the house for a few hours; however, he returned later. On Day 25, Scott discussed nominations with Deana, resulting in the table football game being removed from the house. On Day 29, he joined the green team with five other housemates for the Turf Wars task. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Scott was placed in the Good category. On Day 43, Scott was given a secret task to collect tokens that were being hidden by Becky in the house. He only found one, and failed the task. On Day 44, Scott was given an official warning by Big Brother for using language that could be viewed as stereotyping towards Deana. On Day 48, Scott was instructed to talk in his native Macclesfield accent as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. On Day 58, Scott was given a second warning by Big Brother, again for mocking and stereotyping Deana's Indian culture. Scott was set a secret task by Big Brother to convince housemates that he had been secretly working for Big Brother for the whole series. Housemates were fooled, and Scott won a party for the house (although three housemates were banned from attending as a punishment for discussing nominations.) Luke S invited Scott and two other housemates to join him for a meal cooked by Atul Kochhar, which he had won as a reward for receiving the most awards at the Nommy Awards. In the final shopping task, Scott and Sara took on the roles of museum security guards, and were led to believe that the other housemates were resembling museum exhibits. However, they realised that they were actually receiving treats when the two of them weren't there, failing the task for the house. In Week 10, Scott was nominated to face the public vote in a double eviction against three other housemates. He became the tenth housemate to leave the house, along with Ashleigh who became the eleventh. Out of all of the housemates, Scott was the last to face the public vote; he was never up for eviction until Week 10, when he was evicted.

Famous quotes containing the word scott:

What lies behind facts like these: that so recently one could not have said Scott was not perfect without earning at least sorrowful disapproval; that a year after the Gang of Four were perfect, they were villains; that in the fifties in the United States a nothing-man called McCarthy was able to intimidate and terrorise sane and sensible people, but that in the sixties young people summoned before similar committees simply laughed.
    Doris Lessing (b. 1919)

Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over.
    —F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)

When the first-rate author wants an exquisite heroine or a lovely morning, he finds that all the superlatives have been worn shoddy by his inferiors. It should be a rule that bad writers must start with plain heroines and ordinary mornings, and, if they are able, work up to something better.
    —F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)
