Lubbock Metropolitan Area
The Lubbock Metropolitan Statistical Area is a metropolitan area in the South Plains region of Texas, USA, that covers two counties - Lubbock and Crosby. As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 284,890 (though a July 1, 2011 estimate placed the population at 290,002). It is also part of the larger Lubbock-Levelland Combined Statistical Area.
