In June 2012, Mensch joined forces with former Labour digital adviser Luke Bozier to set up a social networking website - a topic-based rival to Twitter focusing on politics. The site named Menshn - a reference to "mention" - allows users to select their topic of interest. Mensch hopes to raise venture capital finance. The site was slated by IT industry experts for its lack of security.
