Lotte World was one of several locations used for filming the Korean drama Stairway to Heaven. In 2006, it was host to the WPF. It has also been used as the setting for episode 9 of SBS Variety show Running Manand as the setting for Episode 3 of MBC We Got Married YongSeo Couple (Girls' Generation's Seohyun and CNBlue's Yonghwa).
