Mentions in Other Media

Two of the Lost Boys, Cubby and Slightly, appear alongside Peter Pan and Tinker Bell in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Before that, the Lost Boys appeared in the Kingdom Hearts manga as comic relief, fighting Donald over some treasure they found in Captain Hook's ship.

The title of the 1987 film Lost Boys is a reference to Peter Pan's Lost Boys. In the film, the characters retain their youth and gain their powers, including flying, by becoming vampires.

They are also mentioned, along with the island of Neverland and the character Wendy, in the chorus of the song song Somewhere in Never land by All Time Low, written by Alex Gaskarth

Ed Sheeran sings in his song 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' the lyrics "Truly broke, never growing up, call me Rufio" seemingly in reference to the Lost Boys character in Peter Pan.

Famous quotes containing the word media:

The media transforms the great silence of things into its opposite. Formerly constituting a secret, the real now talks constantly. News reports, information, statistics, and surveys are everywhere.
    Michel de Certeau (1925–1986)
