Famous quotes containing the words long, island and/or lizards:
“There were honest people long before there were Christians and there are, God be praised, still honest people where there are no Christians. It could therefore easily be possible that people are Christians because true Christianity corresponds to what they would have been even if Christianity did not exist.”
—G.C. (Georg Christoph)
“Beyond this island bound
By a thin sea of flesh
And a bone coast ...”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
“To think to know the country and not know
The hillside on the day the sun lets go
Ten million silver lizards out of snow!”
—Robert Frost (18741963)
