Personal

Fletcher and his wife Charne have two children, a daughter, Paige, who was born during the 2007 offseason and a son, Cortland Steele, who was born July 22, 2008. Before the start of the 2006 season, he adopted the "Baker" to his last name to honor his late grandmother.

Due to being named a Pro Bowl alternate eleven times and not attending his first one until the 2010 Pro Bowl via replacing Jonathan Vilma, Fletcher called himself the NFL version of Susan Lucci, who won a Daytime Emmy in 1999 in her 19th attempt.

Famous quotes containing the word personal:

    I believe that the highest virtue is to be happy, living in the greatest truth, not submitting to the falsehood of these personal times.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

    Samuel Sewall, in a world of wigs,
    Flouted opinion in his personal hair;
    For foppery he gave not any figs,
    But in his right and honor took the air.
    Anthony Hecht (b. 1923)

    Aristotle (384–323 B.C.)
