The song was performed live twice by Bob Dylan during his November 2005 residency at London's Brixton Academy - a venue also linked with many classic Clash and Joe Strummer concerts. It was also performed live by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at the Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park, London on 28 June 2009.
