Lockheed Martin Canada is a Canadian defence contractor, headquartered in Kanata, Ontario. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, and a part of the Electronic Systems business area. It has over 500 employees, with facilities in Montreal, Quebec, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Victoria, British Columbia. In 2008 Lockheed Martin Canada won a 2 billion dollar contract from the Canadian Government to modernize the Canadian Navy's 12 Halifax Class frigates.
