Live From Memphis (Wishbone Ash)

Live From Memphis (Wishbone Ash)

Live From Memphis was a live promotional recording by rock band Wishbone Ash. The promotional recording featured only a few tracks and was only released in America. On the 2002 remastered version of Argus the entire EP was included as bonus tracks.

The album has never officially been released on CD in its own right, although a recording of the original broadcast, including previously unreleased tracks, was pressed as a bootleg CD in 2009. Although this appears to be endorsed by Andy Powell (the disc was offered for sale at his 2009 Wishbone Ash concerts), this release was made without license from Universal, who own the copyright, and without the approval of the other original members of the band who appear on the disc.

Famous quotes containing the word live:

Under the one word “house” are included the schoolhouse, the almshouse, the jail, the tavern, the dwellinghouse; and the meanest shed or cave in which men live contains elements of all these. But nowhere on the earth stands the entire and perfect house.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
