Other Versions
Apart from the studio version of "Lithium" which was released as a single from the Nevermind album, several other versions have been officially released:
- A live version performed at the Reading Festival in 1992 is included on the video Live! Tonight! Sold Out!!, released on VHS in 1994 and DVD in 2006.
- A live version performed at the Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland in 1991 is included on the live album From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah, released in 1996.
- The Nevermind version, remastered, was re-released on the hits compilation album Nirvana in 2002.
- An acoustic radio performance from 1990 is included on CD3 of the With the Lights Out rarities box set, released in 2004.
- The above mentioned radio performance was also included on the compilation album Sliver: The Best of the Box released in 2005.
- The live version from the Reading Festival in 1992 was again released on the live album and DVD Live at Reading in 2009.
- The Nevermind version, remastered, was re-released on the hits compilation album Icon in 2010.
- A demo version recorded by Butch Vig at Smart Studios in 1990 was included on the 20th anniversary "Deluxe" version of the Nevermind album released in 2011.
- A demo version recorded by Butch Vig in 1991 is included on the 20th anniversary "Super Deluxe" version of the Nevermind album released in 2011.
- A live version recorded at the Paramount Theatre, Seattle, in 1991 is included on the DVD Live at the Paramount, released in 2011.
