This is a list of listed buildings in Wales, which are among the listed buildings of the United Kingdom; the list is incomplete.
The organization of the lists is on the same basis as the statutory register. County names are those used in the register, which in the case of Wales means they are broadly based on the ceremonial counties and do not always match the current administrative areas.
Famous quotes containing the words listed, buildings and/or wales:
“Although then a printer by trade, he listed himself in this early directory as an antiquarian. When he was asked the reason for this he replied that he always thought every town should have at least one antiquarian, and since none appeared for the post, he volunteered.”
—For the State of Iowa, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
“Now, since our condition accommodates things to itself, and transforms them according to itself, we no longer know things in their reality; for nothing comes to us that is not altered and falsified by our Senses. When the compass, the square, and the rule are untrue, all the calculations drawn from them, all the buildings erected by their measure, are of necessity also defective and out of plumb. The uncertainty of our senses renders uncertain everything that they produce.”
—Michel de Montaigne (15331592)
“I just come and talk to the plants, reallyvery important to talk to them, they respond I find.”
—Charles, Prince Of Wales (b. 1948)
