  • Warhammer Chainsaw Sword: In anticipation for the release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Blair Herter receives a genuine chainsword in the mail, which he proceeds to incorporate into several mundane tasks (opening a can of soda, scratching his back, etc.) before developing a romantic relationship with the apparently sentient weapon ... Eventually, Blair and his new life partner attempt to cut a panda in half, when the FBI's "Anti Panda Dismemberment Task Force" (Officer Jones and Officer Pike) barge in to confiscate the sword. Blair attempts to resist, so the officers take him down in a hail of gunfire ... until he awakens to reveal that it was all a dream (although the chainsword still speaks to him).

  • Indiana Webb: Morgan Webb in the role of the famous archaeologist, as the introduction for the 2010 Golden Mullet Awards is presented in the fashion of the opening scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark; after retrieving the golden-mullet award/idol from X-Play deep storage alongside Adam (in the role of Arnold Toht) and avoiding the giant boulder (a Katamari ball), Miss Webb loses the idol when they are ambushed by Cliff Bleszinski (in the role of RenĂ© Belloq).

She is joined by veteran X-Play recurring characters "Patrick Stewart" (vocals) and "Jonathan Frakes" (backup guitar), as well as newcomer "Lt. Commander Worf" (drums). The game's fictional songlist boasts 238 titles, such as Spock 'n Roll All Night; Worf (There He Is!); Khan Buy Me Love; Anarchy for the UFP; Uhura Through the Grapevine; Seven of Ninety Nine Luftballoons; Ferengi's Got Back; Borgs Just Want to Have Fun; Walk This Janeway; and Klingon Me Softly With His Song. The tagline for the commercial features Webb stating that "purchasing any other interactive music technology this winter solstice would be illogical."

  • WWE Adam and Morgan: Polygonal versions of the X-Play hosts, birthed using the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 create-a-wrestler feature. The custom storyline devised for them consisted of Morgan defeating Melina for the WWE Divas Championship, only to find her car sabotaged in the backstage area afterwards, causing her to sustain injuries which led to her defeat in the subsequent rematch. It was ultimately revealed that Adam himself was the culprit, as he had rigged the car to explode in order to frighten Morgan into relinquishing her wrestling career and return to her co-hosting duties (ADAM: "Morgan! It was me! I wanted you to lose the title so you can back and do the show ... ").
