The WWE Cruiserweight Championship was a professional wrestling championship in World Wrestling Entertainment. It was challenged by cruiserweights at a maximum weight of 215 lb. (97.5 kg) and was originally a World Championship Wrestling title. It was exclusive to the SmackDown! brand. There have been a total of 40 recognized champions who have had a combined 79 official reigns.
