• Mark C. Taylor: Taylor is the Chair of the Religion Department at Columbia University. He is among the first authors to connect deconstruction with religious thought and has authored many books using deconstructive concepts. Taylor calls himself a "philosopher of culture" and often writes in a mode known as deconstruction-and-religion or postmodern a/theology.
