One Time Horses

  • Nomad: Mrs. Marsten's spirited mare. Nomad looks like Garnet. The Saddle Club and Phil switch Nomad with Garnet in Episode 17 to teach her a lesson, but it doesn't work out. After "Flying Change" Nomad isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Doc: Andrea's beautiful white horse. Doc always acts up a bit after a long ride in the trailer. After "Jump Off" Doc isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Lady Louise is Mr. Cowlin's beautiful black mare. Lady Louise befriends Diablo. After "Running Free Part 2" Lady Louise isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Napoleon is a lesson horse at Pine Hollow. Napoleon was named after Napoleon Bonaparte. After "The Home Straight" Napoleon isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Atlas is Greg's handsome black horse. Atlas is boarded at Cross County. After "Mystery Weekend" Atlas isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Nickel: Pine Hollow's favorite pony. She's a really sweet grey mare. After Season 1, Nickel isn't mentioned again. In the books Nickel is a boy.
  • Eddie: A brown and white fat pony who gets up to all manner of mischief. In "Blind Faith" he is ridden by Jenna. In "Show Ponies Part 1" Carole rode Eddie when Stevie borrowed Starlight since Belle was really tired. In "Fillies versus Colts" Deborah rode Eddie. After "Foster Horse Part 2," Eddie isn't mentioned again and after "Fillies versus Colts" Eddie isn't seen again.
  • Angel: The horse has been sent to Red for training because she has a problem. Angel runs away with her riders. In "Tender Foot" when Ashley and Melanie disobeyed Red and rode Angel anyway she galloped back to Pine Hollow to let Red know that Ashley and Melanie were in trouble again and needed help. After "Tender Foot," Angel isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Bert: David’s horse who is stabled at Pine Hollow while David’s parents rebuild their barn. But Bert is a troublesome horse which his owner can't control. Bert is able to slide the bolt on his stall door, open it and get out of the stall. Bert got into a fight with Starlight in "Join Up". After "Join Up" Bert isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Storm: A badly damaged and abused black Thoroughbred gelding that Lisa chooses to be Pine Hollow’s first foster horse. Storm likes carrots and is worse with men. He was originally going to be put down until Lisa talked Red into making him Pine Hollow's foster horse. Storm loves Lisa and Mr. Roth equally. Red didn't believe in Storm until Mrs. Reg had a talk with him. Storm is eventually adopted by Mr. Roth in "Foster Horse Part 3".
  • Windsong: A magnificent chestnut Thoroughbred racehorse who eventually is found to have a reaction to natural remedies. Windsong temporarily belongs to Veronica until they have no choice but to sell Windsong when Mr. diAngelo makes some bad investments. Windsong couldn't compete in The Bridgemont Cup after he went into anaphylaxis because of Ethan Lowell Jr. In the books Windsong's name is Go For the Blue "Danny".
  • Sky: A beautiful ghostly silvery white Welsh pony that mysteriously appears and saves Carole and Starlight’s lives. The Saddle Club later learn that Sky is a guide for the blind when his owner Miranda arrives at Pine Hollow to claim him. In "Seeing is Believing," Miranda calls Sky her and girl. Sky looks like the pony on the pillow that Dr. Hanson gave Carole before she lost her battle with cancer.
  • Higgins A sweet bay gelding who Max buys in "Across the Board". Carole looks after Higgins for Max. Veronica steals Higgins in an effort to cheat during the bet she made with Carole. Thanks to Stevie and Lisa Carole finds Higgins in Max and Mrs. Reg's old barn. After "Across the Board" Higgins isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Savage: A chestnut school horse who's as gentle as a lamb. He's ridden by Simon until "One Step Forward". After "One Step Forward" Savage isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Willow: A Thoroughbred horse that Sam rides in "Pedigree". After "Pedigree" Willow isn't seen or mentioned again.
  • Striker: A wild horse who Jack trains after Veronica convinces Mr. Bernouli to let him audition for Brenouli Training School again. Jack is successful with Striker. After "Desk Jockey" Striker isn't seen or mentioned again.
