The Grudge
The Grudge is the first film in the series and is a remake of the japanese film Ju-On: The Grudge, it follows a similar storyline with a different ending being the only exception, the film focuses on Karen Davis the protagonist, who is a remake of the original film's protagonist Rike Nishina, the film revolves around Karen encountering the curse and trying to end it herself before all people around her die. Karen ends up being the only survivor.
