| 01 | AVIATION TODAY | Vincent and Kyu "land" in the cockpit of a jet flying at Mach 27. When Kyu accidentally pushes on the seat eject button, the courageous pilot is catapulted out of the plane with such force that...only his shadow remains in place. What follows is a chase through the pages of this magazine dedicated to the history of aviation. Our two heroes try to get the courageous pilot and the dark spot to stick together again, but the pilot is now...afraid of his own shadow! |
| 02 | PETS TODAY | In "Pets Today", Vincent and Kyu quickly locate the "Rift" but because of the scale-size difference between our heroes and the photo, they discover that the "Rift" is being guarded by a...giant hamster! The two kids set off to find a cat to help them chase off the "big mouse". But all the cats in the magazine are infested with ticks and fleas. Vincent and Kyu use insecticide to get rid of the ticks, but when they run off, they leave a baby tick behind. Kyu, who finally understands the concept of domestic pets, feels overwhelmed with strong maternal urges and decides...to adopt the baby tick! Now our heroes are far from the rift and moreover, they have a baby insect on their hands... |
| 03 | MARTIAL ARTS TODAY | In a martial arts magazine, a Ninja thief steals the object containing the rift from Vincent and Kyu. The chase begins! Meeting an old Shaolin master should have taught Vincent that there's more to mastering the martial arts than just fighting. But luckily Kyu has learned something from the master! |
| 04 | ASTRONOMY TODAY | In "Astronomy Today", Vincent and Kyu blame each other for being frivolous and insincere. Oh, wouldn't the world be a better place if it were just filled with Vincents or Kyus! And that's exactly what happens when they get photocopied by mistake and they have to face an army of their clones in deep space... Living with thousands of copies of oneself becomes a nightmare for both of them. In the end, they rediscover the joy of living with other people. |
| 05 | COOL WHEELS TODAY | Vincent and Kyu find themselves in an automobile magazine. They spot the rift on a "Rally" car that whizzes by, and manage to get a car of their own so they can set off in pursuit of their means of departure. Vincent takes the wheel claiming that he's a boy and therefore knows cars better than Kyu, but because of driving mistake, he misses a turn! The car tears the page and our heroes get lost in the magazine, passing through junkyard, a Formula One race and a Monster Truck race, before getting back to the Rally, thanks to Kyu. Vincent is obliged to recognize his co-pilot's skills... |
| 06 | BASKETBALL TODAY | Vincent and Kyu land in a magazine dedicated to basketball. They meet Vincent's idol, a basketball star whose sneakers (which serve as his lucky charm as well) are home to the Rift. But a dog steals the sneakers and are then recovered by some kids, all basketball fans. And the kids don't seem like they want to part with what they've found! Vincent and Kyu propose a shooting contest between the kids and the star with the sneakers as the prize. Problem: the star player loses his talent without his lucky sneaks. It will take a lot of persuasion from Vincent and Kyu before their "protégé" gets his courage back. |
| 07 | BOATING TODAY | Vincent and Kyu arrive in a picture that tells the adventures of the great trans-Atlantic cruise ships from the beginning of the century. The crew isn't shown in this photo, only the extravagant luxury of these ships. Vincent (who knows what can happen) and Kyu (who wants to enjoy all the luxury) have to find the crew to carry them all the way to the rift, visible at the edge of the horizon. |
| 08 | FINE ARTS TODAY | Vincent and Kyu enter a magazine dedicated to painting. They meet the great Paintall, the precursor of Profilism. In the flat world, the Master lands on the brilliant idea of painting Kyu's face as a profile. A totally new perspective opens up for our heroine. But Kyu will soon miss her face as seen from the front and sets off, accompanied by Vincent, to find a new master who can "redo her portrait". |
| 09 | BABIES TODAY | In this episode, Vincent, who can't stand crying babies, and Kyu who doesn't have the slightest idea that a baby is a child to be, will have to find the parents of a paper baby in a magazine specialized in babies. Moreover, throughout the episode, the baby will take Vincent for his mother and Kyu for his father. |
| 10 | CRAFTS TODAY | Vincent and Kyu land in a magazine about crafts for kids. They spot the rift at the base of a salt dough sculpture. Unfortunately, the sculpture is out of reach. They try to get it by standing on a "soap box" (a wooden car), but miss and find themselves on a page where a little girl – Lola – is trying to build a dollhouse. Our heroes help the girl and, in return, she gives them a helping hand to build a catapult with available materials, allowing them to reach the rift... |
| 11 | CAMPING TODAY | In "Camping Today", Vincent and Kyu pretend to be some kind of scouts, the "Chamois". Vincent the city dweller and Kyu the girl's magazine star will have to learn how to live "in the rough" if they want to reach the rift, accessible only to the best of scouts, and leave behind these slightly exaggerated "wonderful summer camps". |
| 12 | PRO-WRESTLING TODAY | In "Pro-Wrestling Today", Vincent and Kyu fall in a ring in the middle of a pro-wrestling match. They dodge the punches until the point that Kyu starts fighting back and folds up the wrestlers. She becomes a wrestling star! But quickly, the young "ex-non-violent" girl starts to get bigheaded. Vincent is forced to become the coach for Kyu's opponent to remind her of the real proportion of things... |
| 13 | KITES TODAY | Vincent and Kyu arrive in an outdoor sports magazine. In order to reach the "rift" that is situated beyond their grasp, Vincent and Kyu ask a flat kid flying a kite for help. It turns out that the kid is...Vincent at eight years old! But he seems to be having problems flying his kite because he quickly gets discouraged. As a result, Vincent is bound to help himself, even though he lacked so much confidence as a kid... |
