Ted Faulkner
Inspector Edward 'Ted' Faulkner was a fictional character in the long-running Australian police drama Blue Heelers. He first appeared in the series in late 1994 and appeared as the district police inspector, stationed at St. Davids; he took the place of Inspector Murray. He left the series in 1996 when fast-tracker Inspector Russell Falcon-Price took over the job, Ted now seemed very gentle and low-key compared to Falcon-Price.

Famous quotes containing the word faulkner:
“The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artists way of scribbling Kilroy was here on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.”
—William Faulkner (18971962)
