Greg Benner walked across America the first time between April 26, 2001 beginning in Aberdeen, WA, proceeded east to Charleston, SC, and ended in front of the White House July 4, 2002. He walked 3,883 miles and was featured in newspapers, on radio, and on national TV.

Greg walked across America a second time October 20, 2010 beginning at the Santa Monica pier near Los Angeles, CA and walked to Jacksonville, FL where he ended on Hannah Beach at 7:18 pm September 28, 2011. Greg covered 2,720 miles on this route. He cold-called more than a 1,000 churches of all denominations, sat with nearly 500 pastors from untold denominations, and spoke many times. As a result of his walks Greg wrote a book entitled Author unknown (ISBN 9781619967465) released March 30, 2012 which is on Amazon.com. His book encompasses more than 40 years of His life, and other travels to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Israel, Germany, Dubai, England, and the United States, which led him into the offices of foreign dignitaries.

He intends to walk across America a third time in 2013 to 2014 on a northern route to navigate the remaining states. Meanwhile, Greg will be making an 8500 mile book tour in 2012 for Author unknown that heads him eastward from Washington State through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, into Washington, DC before turning south toward Jacksonville, FL. Once Greg reaches Jacksonville, he will head westward through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, back into Washington State.
