Famous quotes containing the words wicked, witch and/or west:

Every great love brings with it the cruel idea of killing the object of its love so that it may be removed once and for all from the wicked game of change: for love dreads change even more than annihilation.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

Ding-dong, the wicked witch is dead.
    E.Y. Harburg (1898–1981)

The West is preparing to add its fables to those of the East. Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
