Praeter is a Herald of Galactus in the Marvel Comics universe. The character, created by Matt Fraction and Olivier Coipel, first appeared as a human known as Pastor Mike in The Mighty Thor #1 (2011), and as Praetor in #6 (2011).

Within the context of the stories, Pastor Mike willingly replaces the Silver Surfer as Galactus' herald.
