Azazel is a mutant in the Marvel Comics universe. Created by Chuck Austen and Sean Phillips, the character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #428 (October 2003). The biological father of longtime X-Man Nightcrawler, Azazel is a red-skinned demon who possesses teleportation powers and immortality.
