Absalom is a mutant in the Marvel Comics universe.

The character, created by Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza and Mark Pacella, first appeared in X-Force #10 .

Within the context of the stories, Absalom lived sometime in the Old West, where he was to be hanged for the murder of the renowned lawman and gunfighter Caleb Hammer. Upon his first death his spines grew, cutting himself free and scaring away the crowd. Much later, Absalom joins the immortal mutant group known as the Externals. He is infected with the deadly disease known as the Legacy Virus. Before the virus can claim him, he is killed by Selene, who is hunting down all the Externals.
