This is a list of Irish people who were born on the island of Ireland and have lived there for most of their lives. Also included on the list are people who were not born in Ireland, but have been raised as Irish, have lived there for most of their lives or have adopted Irish citizenship (e.g., Daniel Day-Lewis).
