Florina
In The Currents of Space, Florina is the home of "kyrt," a fiber-producing plant that grows only on Florina, and which is woven into an extremely strong yet beautiful cloth. It is in practical serfdom to the planet Sark. "Sark" means "shirt" or "dress" in Scots dialect, "kyrt" resembles the word kirtle, meaning a tunic or dress, (a word also used in the Mycogen sector of Trantor in Asimov's Prelude to Foundation), and "Florina" means "little flower" in more than one language.
