Amrutavarshini is the 5th radio station and was started with frequeny 100.3 MHz. Later it changed to 100.1 MHz. It too is controlled by All India Radio. It broadcasts Classical Music for a total of eight hours daily, from 6.00 to 10.00 and from 18.00 to 22.00. This channel is meant only for those citizens who are interested in classical music. Which includes both Carnatic and Hindustani. This channel is the tribute to the yester years achievers in the field of Classical Music. It can be great help for those, who are learners.
