Fiona Morris, played by Ashley Jensen, is Rod Morris (Forbes Masson)'s wife, who first appears when her and Rod come to the di Marcos for dinner. She notices that Rod's pupil, Nicky di Marco (Carly Hillman) has a crush on her husband. She is seen again when Nicky's brother Gianni comes to the Morrises' home and attacks Rod, who Nicky has accused of sexually assaulting her. Fiona tries to fend Gianni off but is shoved to the floor in the process. Several days later, Fiona appears in Albert Square and corners Nicky in an attempt to get her to drop her case against Rod, but is interrupted when a journalist enters the scene to ask Nicky about the events, prompting her to flee. Later, Nicky, her mother Rosa (Louise Jameson) and Gianni arrive to confront Fiona after she had labelled Nicky a "tart" and the two begin a screaming match in which Fiona states that Nicky has been flirting with Rod for weeks and that Rod has been a teacher for the past 11 years and has never behaved inappropriately towards a student. This is her last appearance, as Nicky admits that she had instigated a kiss with Rod, and all the charges against him are dropped.

Famous quotes containing the word morris:
“The winds on the wold
And the night is a-cold,
And Thames runs chill
Twixt mead and hill.
But kind and dear
Is the old house here
And my heart is warm
Midst winters harm.”
—William Morris (18341896)
