List of Diplomatic Missions of Saudi Arabia

This is a list of diplomatic missions of Saudi Arabia. King Faisal established the General Directory for the Foreign Affairs in 1926. Four years later it was given ministry status, even though it had a staff of fifteen employees in total—and no diplomatic missions abroad. In 1936 the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had five missions (in London, Baghdad, Damascus, Geneva and Cairo), and fifteen years later this number had jumped to sixteen. Saudi Arabia now has an extensive diplomatic presence worldwide.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, diplomatic and/or missions:

I made a list of things I have
    to remember and a list
of things I want to forget,
but I see they are the same list.
    Linda Pastan (b. 1932)

    Lovers, forget your love,
And list to the love of these,
    She a window flower,
    And he a winter breeze.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

The admission of Oriental immigrants who cannot be amalgamated with our people has been made the subject either of prohibitory clauses in our treaties and statutes or of strict administrative regulations secured by diplomatic negotiations. I sincerely hope that we may continue to minimize the evils likely to arise from such immigration without unnecessary friction and by mutual concessions between self-respecting governments.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one’s own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind.... Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn’t, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn’t have to; but if he didn’t want to he was sane and had to.
    Joseph Heller (b. 1923)
