Famous quotes containing the words world and/or sparrows:

There is nothing in the world I hold in greater horror than to see a body moving against its head: and I shall be very careful not to ally myself with such a monster.
    Elizabeth I (1533–1603)

And now the sparrows warring in the eaves,
The curd-pale moon, the white stars in the sky,
And the loud chaunting of the unquiet leaves,
Are shaken with earth’s old and weary cry.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
